Savage Model 110 High Country

Priced at $1,129, the new Savage Model 110 High Country may be the ultimate bolt-action hunting rifle in its price bracket. This rifle is built to maximize accuracy with a spiral-fluted barrel and bolt, as well as the Model 110 action secured three-dimensionally along its entire length within the Savage AccuStock internal chassis. Its AccuFit system lets hunters customize length-of-pull and comb height of the TrueTimber Strata synthetic stock, which has over-molded, sticky rubber surfaces everywhere your body contacts the rifle. It also includes the award-wining, user-adjustable AccuTrigger with a crisp, clean, no-creep pull for making precise shots at longer distances. The low-friction, coyote brown PVD coating on the barrel, receiver and other critical parts is harder than competing finishes and protects against corrosion and heat. At just 2 to 4 microns in thickness, the PVD coating does not interfere with the rifle’s tight tolerances. Available chambered in 7mm Rem. Mag., .30-06 Springfield, .300 Win Mag., 7mm-08 Rem., 6.5 PRC, .300 WSM, 6.5 Creedmoor, .270 Win., .280 Ackley, .308 Win and .243 Win., the Model 110 High Country is an excellent choice for all medium to large game. All feature a 22- or 24-inch (depending upon caliber) spiral fluted barrels with 4-round detachable box magazines, and a 3-position safety. Empty weight runs from 8.1 to 8.5 pounds.
