Kimber Advanced Tactical SRC II Rifle

Perhaps better known for its line of 1911 pistols, Kimber has been building high-end rifles since its inception. Their new Advanced Tactical SRC II Rifle was built to meet the needs of military and law enforcement professionals, but Kimber has made it available to any law-abiding citizen as well. Chambered in.308 Win. (7.62 NATO) this super-accurate (sub 1/2-MOA guarantee) bolt-action rifle is more-compact than typical (16-inch barrel; 37.0 OAL) but still packs the goods to precisely reach out and touch whatever needs touching. Weight is 10 lbs. 8 oz. without optics. Made from stainless steel with a matte black Kim Pro finish, it features a Mauser claw extractor, 3-position Model 70 wing safety selector, threaded muzzle with suppressor adapter, 2.5-lb. factory set trigger, fully adjustable, side-folding aluminum stock with M-Lok accessory rail, night vision mount, 5-round detachable box magazine and Mil-Spec tripod mount. It’s not inexpensive ($2,449), but it’s features and performance more than justify the sticker price. Contact Kimber America, Dept. OT; Tel.: (888) 243-4522. Web: www.kimberamerica.com
